A small pack, camera, comfortable hiking shoes with an unworn sole which you don’t mind getting wet (Recommend Teva, Keen, Morrell or similar Sandals), bathing suit, extra spending money, sunscreen, and change of clothing or light jacket, and sun hat, if you have a favorite.

These trips are all-inclusive which include: walking poles (upon request), water, beverages, snacks, towels, rain ponchos, and fun surprises. If you want to bring your own gear feel free. Certain tours (Hana Adventure, West Maui) include lunch. Other tours can have lunches added as options.

2. What does lunch include?
Lunch typically includes:
• Sandwich Bar (Roast turkey, black forest ham, selection of cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and various condiments on a torta roll or fresh baked bread. Note: these are handmade at lunch time by you)
• PuPu Platter with taro and sweet potato chips, hummus, pineapple and other local seasonal fruit
• Maui Mango Iced Tea and water

3. How fit do I need to be?
We build a tour experience within your fitness level, specifically for you. However, the more fit and active your are the more hidden treasures we can offer you. Our tours cater to every fitness level including people who require assistance with walking.

For those desiring a more active day, you should be able to walk at least a 1/2 to 1 mile on uneven, slippery terrain. Most of our adventures require that you have a sense of balance and can walk on sand, mud, tree roots, rocks, and maintained nature trails. Most trails you will experience are relatively flat and under 2 miles round trip.

The average length of trails on Maui is less than 1 mile. However, there are trails that we highly recommend for the experienced hikers that are several miles longer.

Many spots offer optional exploration such as rope ladders and cliff jumping.

4. How long do the trips last?
Most adventures are designed to be all-day. However, we will shorten ANY adventure to accommodate your individual schedule. For example, we can do a Halfway to Hana tour.

A full-day West Maui and Halfway to Hana tours are typically 6-8 hours. We pick up for West Maui tours around 9 a.m.

A full-day Road to Hana Tour is typically 10-12 hours. Begins in Kahului at 7:30 a.m. and returns anytime between 6-8 p.m. You must provide transportation to Kahului. We can pick you up from Kihei/Wailea for an additional fee. We also pick-up at no additional charge in Central Maui, the North Shore (up to Haiku area), or Lower Kula and below.
