Explore the real Hawai'i and enjoy your own secluded beach! It begins at 6:45 a.m. when your naturalist guide picks you up at your hotel and wisks you away to a nearby beach for a (optional) beach breakfast and morning walk to get your muscles warmed up. After breakfast you will hike the Old King's Hwy for about 2 miles. Your guide will have everything you will need as this hike is across Maui's youngest lava flow at the southwest base of Haleakala. Along the hike you will have a chance to take a lot of beautiful scenic photos. So, bring your camera!
The hike ends at a secluded black sand beach surrounded by ancient archeological sites, spectacular lava cliffs, and coconut trees. Your guide will prepare a delicious gourmet lunch, including some of Hawai'i's native fruits and juices while you explore, swim, snorkel, or simply relax in your quiet secluded tropical paradise. There are places to jump off the rocks into the water if you're really into a adrenaline rush! The day ends with a slow walk back to reality.
